What is PARA?

In March of 2022, I was in an unavoidable car crash with a deer late at night with my brother. When it happened, the first two things I thought to myself were What just happened? and What do I do next?

In light of my experiences, I created PARA, the Post-Accident Resource Assistant. PARA's mission is to simplify to process from collision to claim. Upon opening the service, you can immediately call 911 or complete a survey to see the safest way to handle the situation. After, you can create a new accident log that connects to your police report. It allows you to keep all your Information, files, photos, and more, In one secure place. Your report is linked to a QR code that allows other parties to join onto their own separate reports of the accident for the police and insurance companies to use. It also immediately exchanges everyone’s necessary information within the service. This allows for a streamlined system so, in the midst of panic, no one forgets any important steps.

This service would be marketed and distributed through different departments in the government and the automobile and insurance industries, such as Insurance Companies, AAA, Car Dealerships, Vehicle Resale, Police, Firefighters, DMV, New Driver Training, Hospitals, and more. It would then be sold to individuals as a vital subscription-based service for the inevitable times when we or our loved ones get in an accident.
