Art in New Dimensions

✦ Mixed Media is a label that has been used for countless traditional pieces. Acrylic and cut paper, oil and graphite, watercolor and ink, the combinations go on and on. But what happens when you mix digital tools with traditional art? For my 2021-2022 AP Drawing project, I started to explore the world of using digital tools and overlays to alter physical artwork. Here is a great example of how a digital drawing can enhance a still life and turn it into something new! (Hover over the image and click the arrow to see both versions of the piece)
